Traveling on a cruise is a great option for your next vacation.
But if you’re a first time cruiser, it might be a bit confusing as to what is included in the package price and what is not included. After all, you might see some cruise vacations as “all-inclusive,” when in actuality it’s not. Though some cruise lines might differ a bit, for the most part, they include the following items in their package prices. The cabin Your cabin is included in the package price. Just check the fine print as to what kind of cabin is offered. You might find a “steal” but then realize the cabin that’s being offered is an interior cabin (no window or porthole). If you want a cabin with a balcony, for instance, check the package prices for those types of accommodations. Food Cruise ships are known for their food. And it’s pretty known that you don’t go on a cruise vacation to lose weight; in fact, it’s nearly impossible. With three sumptuous meals served per day and snacks offered around the clock, you won’t walk away hungry. And you’ll have more than just one restaurant to choose from. Many ships have a combination of bistros, cafes and formal dining room options to choose from. Activities A whole bunch of activities are included in the package price such as fitness centers, putting ranges, tennis courts, Internet cafés, lectures, wine tasting, plus much more. If, on the other hand, you’d rather enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation, then sit by the pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. Entertainment Besides a long list of activities, cruise lines offer non-stop entertainment. Choose from such favorites as disco dances, Las Vegas and Broadway style shows, Comedy nights and live concerts to name a few. Children’s programs If you’re planning to bring your kids with you, don’t worry about spending extra money to keep them entertained. That’s because the majority of cruise ships offer a whole slew of children’s programs, by age category. No matter what age, they’ll be so occupied that you probably won’t even seem them the entire cruise except during mealtime.
